Leaders from across the state, including S.C. Governor Henry McMaster, gathered at Midlands Technical College’s Northeast campus to celebrate the opening of the Cornerstone building and take a tour of the facility. The building was created as part of a partnership between Richland County, the South Carolina Department of Commerce, readySC, and Midlands Technical College to increase economic and workforce development in the region.

MTC and Herzing University signed an agreement that will open a new transfer pathway for Nursing students aiming to earn a Bachelor of Science (BSN), and possibly a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).

Starting this fall semester, many Midlands Technical College students will be eligible for additional scholarship funding, making MTC even more affordable.
