Art Studio

    These courses in design, drawing, and painting provide students with an interdisciplinary exploration of visual, commercial, and industrial arts, and prepares students for careers in a wide range of areas including illustration, animation, graphic design, conservation, and education.

Audio Engineering

    Audio Engineer duties include running sound for artists or theaters, producing sound for concerts or large productions, managing studio sessions, and troubleshooting PA systems in a church or performing arts venues.

    In this program, students will learn basic camera functions, exposure, and depth of field before moving into discussing concepts of videography and how to capture moving pictures and sound using video and audio equipment. In addition, students will learn about maintaining client relationships, production planning, reel creation, and mastering distribution methods.

  • Video Editor

    Video editors use specialized software programs to edit videos with transitions, apply basic effects and color correction, and sync sound. They also format video in standard and high-definition formats for export to various platforms.

Writing

    Writing students gain experience with composing processes, persuasive approaches, and publication skills across print and digital genres and pursue exciting careers in our rapidly evolving world of communications. Writing students can also pursue a four-year degree in majors such as Rhetoric and Publishing, Creative Writing, Technical and Professional Communications, Social and Digital Media, Journalism, and more.
