Web Software Developer and Engineer
Overview
This program provides individuals with no prior computer programming experience the necessary skills to become junior full-stack developers ready for immediate employment. The course covers programming languages such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, JAVA, as well as databases (such as relational and NoSQL/document) and includes web-server and front-end frameworks. Students will learn Agile/Scrum practices. All concepts learned are demonstrated throughout the class with extensive coding exercises with individual and group projects including a large capstone project.
Individuals that successfully complete the program with MTC emerge as qualified software engineers ready to work in an enterprise development environment. Take the 90 minute screening now to start the application process.

Introduction to HTML, CSS and Javascript Learn to use HTML to structure web content. Create semantically meaningful page structures. Learn CSS basics to build effective navigation and page layouts, and then move on to work with typography, colors, backgrounds, positioning and list styling. Learn the basics of JavaScript to give you a foundation of the interworking's of this client-side programming language and what it can do to help make your web pages more dynamic and engaging.
