Osha 10 General Industry Safety
ID: CESAF-695
Learn safety and health principles to help you meet OSHA requirements. Upon completion of the General Construction Safety course you will be able to identify OSHA regulatory requirements for construction sites and work knowledgeably within OSHA's construction standards. Special emphasis is placed on areas in construction that most commonly result in worker injury or property damage. Students will receive a 10-hour OSHA Construction completion card.
Pipes and Fittings
ID: CEPLU-550
This course provides students with hands-on training in the tools, materials, and techniques used to cut, connect, and install piping systems commonly found in residential and commercial plumbing. Students will work with PVC, PEX, PEX-A, copper (using both soldering and ProPress methods), and cast iron. The course also introduces blueprint reading and the interpretation of isometric drawings to help students visualize and plan piping layouts. Best practices in material take-off are integrated throughout the course to reinforce cost awareness, accuracy, and jobsite efficiency. Students will gain critical skills in pipe measurement, layout, and joining techniques that prepare them for success on the job.
