Your Gift's Impact

The Difference You Make

Your investment is changing lives across the Midlands.

Every gift to the Midlands Technical College Foundation creates opportunity, removes barriers, and strengthens the workforce that drives the Midlands forward.

The results are immediate, measurable, and deeply personal.

In the past year, donor support provided more than $560,000 in direct assistance to 364 students, helping them stay enrolled, complete their programs, and move into high-demand careers. From Career Launch Grants that cover tools and equipment, to emergency funding and basic needs support, you help ensure students can focus on what matters most—finishing their education.

Career Launch Grants
Despite tuition and fees often being covered by Pell Grants and other available state or federal aid, students still encounter financial obstacles that impede their progress towards careers with family-sustaining wages.  Career Launch Grants are resources for students who need help purchasing books, tools, and equipment necessary for their classes, as well as expenses associated with licensure examinations.

“The Career Launch Grant I recieved paid for the tools I needed for my program, which has helped me tremendously in my studies at MTC.”
Raymond Pizzigoni, Career Launch Grant Recipient

Dental Hygiene Graduates
MTC students graduate with a wealth of medical knowledge but are also taught to think critically and learn essential interpersonal and professional skills. When you invest in MTC, you’re investing in a future filled with healthy and genuine smiles in the Midlands community.

“We felt this was the place that really cared, and we wanted to give money to a place that really does care about students.”
Dr. Joel Myerson, Donor

Business Management Graduates
MTC’s Business Management graduates are prepared to drive business growth, support local industries, and contribute to a thriving Midlands economy.

“When I got my first scholarship in college, I still remember the day.  I want to give that same memory to another student every year.”
Michael Farrell, MTC Commissioner, Donor

Electrical Engineering Graduates
Graduates of MTC’s Electrical Engineering program fuel innovation, strengthen industry, and support the technologies that keep the Midlands moving.

“The Schneider Electric Scholarship alleviates financial pressures and allows me to focus more fully on my academic success and professional development.”
