This intensive one-day course prepares commercial drivers to successfully obtain the Hazardous Materials (H) Endorsement required to transport hazardous materials. Designed to meet the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration’s (FMCSA) Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) requirements for drivers who obtained their CDL on or after February 7, 2022, the course provides the mandatory training needed prior to taking the Hazardous Materials knowledge examination at the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (SC DMV). Delivered in a face-to-face format, this course offers an interactive learning experience with direct instructor support, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of hazardous materials regulations, safety procedures, security awareness, and test content. Upon completion, students will be better prepared and more confident in pursuing their HazMat endorsement and expanding their career opportunities in the commercial transportation industry.

Hazmat Endorsement for CDL

This one-day course is designed to prepare a professional driver to take the Hazardous Material Endorsement test at the SC DMV. This course meets the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's (FMCSA) requirements as an Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) training for those who received their CDL after February 7th, 2022. This in-person class allows for a more personalized training experience resulting in better understanding of the test material.
