Training Certificate
Overview
This program will instruct students in backflow mechanics and how cross connections can be addressed and/or eliminated. State regulations will be presented and explained. Students will test, troubleshoot, and repair these devices. Completion of this training is a prerequisite for certification as a Backflow Prevention Device Tester in South Carolina. Additionally, students are required to attend all four days of training, pass a written exam, pass a hands-on exit exam, and own or have clear access to the appropriate testing equipment. You are not required to purchase testing equipment prior to the program.
