Dominion Energy of South Carolina has awarded the Midlands Technical College Foundation $25,000 to support workforce development training.

The money will support scholarships for our QuickJobs programs. QuickJobs are career training programs developed for jobs where workers will be in high demand over the next decade. Most often, participants have little to no experience in that career field but complete the program and become ready to secure their dream job.

“Dominion Energy’s generous support of the QuickJobs training programs at Midlands Technical College, will further our work preparing students to enter the workforce in high-demand, high-paying careers,” said Amy Scully, vice provost for continuing and corporate education.” Partnerships with companies like Dominion allow individuals to begin new careers or advance in their current careers.”

Dominion Energy South Carolina President Keller Kissam said, “Our dedicated and talented family of employees is one of our most important resources. This program will offer a successful and rewarding career path for students while helping us build a more sustainable and diverse workforce across our company and the Palmetto State.”

Anyone interested in receiving a QuickJobs scholarship is required to attend an information session. Scholarships are available to those who qualify.
