Get certified as a personal trainer and work with clients one-on-one in gyms, spas, medical facilities, or work for yourself! Personal trainers in South Carolina earn a starting pay of around $15 an hour. In this five-week program, you’ll learn about biomechanics, exercise physiology, fitness testing, equipment usage, and nutrition. Prior to obtaining certification, you must become Adult CPR/AED certified (not included as part of this class) and pass the national exam given the last week of class.
