Database Development
Overview
The Database Development certificate provides the student with an opportunity to gain knowledge and work with relational databases.
The student will use SQL in the design and manipulation of the database. The student will develop Windows-based interfaces as well as internet-based interfaces. The emphasis will be on database application development.
Students must earn a grade of “C” or better in all of the courses offered within the Business/Public Services and Information Systems Technology departments for the grade to be counted toward graduation. Specifically, these include courses with the following prefixes: ACC, AOT, BAF, BUS, CPT, EGR, HUS, IST, LEG, MGT, and MKT.
