Academic and Career Advising has transitioned to all online appointments using the free, easy-to-use online meeting tool called Zoom! Summer and fall registrations started on Monday, March 23. Complete advisement so you can register in the best summer and fall schedules.

How do I know what type of student I am?

Current or Continuing Student

A student who is currently attending MTC. Continuing students should schedule an advisement appointment.

First-time Student
A student who has never attended a college or university. Freshman students must first complete online orientation, and then meet with an Academic and Career Advisor.
Re-admit Student
A student who hasn't attended MTC in over a year. Re-admits are required to re-apply to MTC.
Transient Student
A student who is currently attending another college and is taking a class at MTC that they want to transfer back to their original institution. Transient students are required to apply to MTC.
Transfer Student
A student who has earned credits from another college or university and is transferring to MTC with the intent to earn a degree, diploma or certificate. Transfer students are required to complete online orientation, and then meet with an Academic and Career Advisor.
