Lottery Tuition Assistance

Almost all students that qualify for in-state tuition rates can get lottery-funded tuition assistance, regardless of need. There is no special application required, just fill out your FAFSA! Students may receive up to $85 per credit hour and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours.

Please note: Recipients of the LIFE scholarship are not eligible for lottery-funded tuition assistance.

LIFE Scholarship

LIFE is a merit-based scholarship that can help pay for tuition and books. LIFE scholarship recipients are not eligible for Lottery Tuition Assistance and must meet some eligibility requirements, including having a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

SC Workforce and Industrial Needs Scholarship (SC WINS)

Students that qualify for lottery-funded tuition assistance may also be eligible for SC WINS. Students can qualify based on major or by income. There is no special application required, just fill our your FAFSA! Students may receive up to $65 per credit hour and must be enrolled in at least six credit hours.
