English 100 will develop basic composition skills by requiring frequent writing of short (three- to five-paragraph) essays. Those grammar and usage errors that occur frequently and disrupt writing will also be stressed. This course does not meet the requirements for an associate degree but may meet requirements for a diploma or certificate.
