This program for rising 9th-12th graders blends creativity and technical skills in a week-long interdisciplinary project that brings engineering concepts to life. Through engaging activities and expert guidance, students will design, build, and demonstrate their final creation at a showcase event for family and friends. Along the way, they'll gain insight into engineering careers and educational pathways, setting the foundation for future innovation.

The course topics include student/instructor expectations, time management, library/computer orientation, listening/note-taking, studying for success, learning styles/personality types, and diversity and differences on campus.

This course teaches the concepts and foundation of advanced EMT care in an emergency setting, and prepares students to take the National Registry exam for Advanced EMT certification (NR-AEMT). Previous completion of an EMT course and certification as a national and SC State EMT is required.

This nationally accredited program covers both textbook knowledge and hands-on practical training, preparing you to work with clients one-on-one in fitness facilities. Students participate in virtual lectures from 9am-1pm each Saturday. The topics included are biomechanics, exercise physiology, fitness testing, equipment usage, and nutrition. The face to face afternoon portion is from 1-4pm at a local gym. Reading and studying outside of class is imperative for successful class completion and passing the national certificate exam give on last day of class.
