Ashley Ramirez is a self-proclaimed nerd who pulled off an amazing academic feat. She earned two degrees from MTC before she graduated from high school. Her parents met while taking classes at Midlands Technical College and married shortly afterwards, so it makes sense that Ashley Ramirez felt a Real Connection to MTC.

Her parents met while taking classes at Midlands Technical College and married shortly afterwards, so it makes sense that Ashley Ramirez felt a Real Connection to MTC.
“MTC has prepared me for the future by providing me with a new perspective on life,” she said.
Ashley first came to Midlands Technical College as a student in the Richland One Middle College (ROMC) on the Beltline Campus. ROMC offers its junior and senior students the opportunity to attend high school on a college campus where they can earn college credits – saving time and money.

With two associate degrees under her belt, Ashley plans to pursue a Masters in Divinity while majoring in Pastoral Teaching at Columbia International University.
