Learn the secrets that experts use to create beautiful flowers using techniques like royal icing plus piping. Professional cake decorators start with earnings around $11 an hour and work in grocery stores, restaurants, catering, schools, and hospitals.

Class Delivery Methods

On-Campus Traditional. Classes meet on campus.
Virtual 100% online. Meets with a live instructor and classmates on specific days, at specific times. Uses web conferencing software, like Zoom.
Hybrid Some class sessions are scheduled on-campus, while others are conducted online or virtual.
Online Class is conducted 100% online. Projects and assignments follow defined due dates while allowing for self-directed work on your schedule.

Cake Decorator Professional

Find out how the experts create beautiful cakes. This 18-hour certificate program prepares you with the basic cake decorating skills needed to start a cake business, obtain a position as an entry level decorator (bakery/grocery store), or for personal pleasure. Learn the perfect techniques in creating beautiful cakes using buttercream icing. The list of supplies needed will be discussed the first night of class.
