Overview

Learn the most important principles and practices related to project management through a combination of classroom lectures, group discussions, and hands-on exercises. The program content is consistent with the latest Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide) - 6th Edition and other standards and guides from the Project Management Institute (PMI).

Pick up some powerful project management skills and start working in areas like information technology, engineering, or construction. In this three-month program, you will gain a solid foundation in the most important principles and practices related to managing the resources of large projects and ensuring a project is completed within a certain set of restraints. Prepare for the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or the Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications, and to work as a project manager, program coordinator, program assistant, program manager, or project lead.

What’s next after I complete this program?

Obtain Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification

Once completing the Project Management program, you will qualify to take the CAPM certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Once obtained, you can work as a Program Coordinator, Project Manager Assistant or Program Assistant.

Obtain the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Once completing the Project Management program and completed other prerequisites, you may qualify to take the PMP certification through the Project Management Institute (PMI). Once obtained, you can work as a Project Manager or Project Lead.
