Independence Day Tribute: The Confidence Obstacle Course at Fort Jackson

On July 4th, 2025 Midlands Technical College debuted an Independence Day tribute.

MTC is honored to be a Purple Heart College and to support our nation’s heroes. To celebrate that relationship, college President Dr. Greg Little tackled the Confidence Obstacle Course at Fort Jackson.

His brother, Phillip, joined him. He graduated from basic training at Fort Jackson in 1988 and served in the U.S. Army and N.C. National Guard as a medic before becoming a public school principal in the Tarheel State.
