Instructor Spotlights – Supervisory Training Certificate

Karin M. Hill

Karin M. Hill

Karin Hill teaches leadership, employee and customer service training. She brings her real life experiences into the classroom. Her extensive HR experience – from entry-level to executive – was gained while working for Fortune 500 international companies; an outplacement/career development/team building consulting business; and major Midwest health systems in St. Louis and in Kansas.

She earned her BA in Journalism and Government from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and her MBA from St. Louis University.

More about Karin

Karin is on the MTC Continuing Education adjunct faculty staff. She also serves as a human resources and organizational development consultant for small businesses. Karin has multiple training certifications including DDI Master Trainer and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, and holds the SPHR and SHRM-SCP Certifications. Currently, she consults with, and provides leadership for, employee and customer service training for multiple organizations including government entities and agencies, manufacturing and service industries, health care and related health services, insurance companies, and educational institutions.

Sylvia Aull-Holcombe

Sylvia Aull-Holcombe

Sylvia Aull-Holcome has over 30 years of experience as a Human Resources Professional in a variety of industries and has worked closely with all levels of employees to assist them with career management, succession planning, and professional development. 

Sylvia has a Master of Business Administration, with a concentration in Human Resources from James Madison University and a Bachelor of Science in Administrative Management from Clemson University.

More about Sylvia

Sylvia has designed and facilitated programs to assess and improve individual and team performance. She is a certified Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) through the National Society for Human Resources Management. She is also MTC's 2020 Employee and Leadership Adjunct Instructor of the Year.
