MTC Dean Named to 2025 Palmetto Power Education List

Ray Thomas, Midlands Technical College’s Dean of the School of Business and the School of Advanced Manufacturing and Skilled Trades, has been named one of 15 "Palmetto Power Education Honorees" by SC Biz News for 2025. Through the program, the publication recognizes leaders making a difference in South Carolina’s higher-education sector. 

Dean Thomas said, “By strengthening our employer partnerships and aligning our curriculum with industry needs, we’re able to provide students with the hands-on, career-focused training they and area businesses need to achieve long-term success. I’m extremely proud of MTC’s critical work in these areas, and I’m honored to be recognized as one of the Palmetto Power Education Honorees.”

Last year, MTC President Dr. Greg Little was named to SC Biz News’ Palmetto Power 2024 list.
