Counseling and Career Services

The Counseling and Career Services Office offers a range of services including career counseling, crisis intervention, brief personal counseling, workshops, accommodations to students with documented disabilities, and community referrals. Counseling services are confidential and are offered at no charge to prospective, enrolled or former students.

Students come to counseling with concerns such as:

  • choice of college major or career goal
  • impact of a disability on academic progress
  • anger management
  • anxiety
  • lack of self-confidence
  • concerns about alcohol or drug use
  • interpersonal conflicts
  • family problems
  • loneliness
  • depression
  • achievement conflicts
  • procrastination
