Apply to MTC
Do I need to apply?
All new academic students should apply to MTC.
Use of our online application is preferred, as it ensures information is complete and expedites processing. However, paper applications are also accepted. To obtain a paper application, please visit the Admissions Office at either the Beltline or Airport campus or call 803.822.6714.
(Hint: if you are trying to earn college credit, you're an academic student. Training represents MTC’s corporate and continuing education and personal enrichment programs. In most cases, training students do not need to apply to the college.)
After You Submit Your Application
Within 24 hours of submitting your application, you'll receive an email containing information about your new MyMTC account. MyMTC is the student intranet, and it is the best way to view your admissions status and update your application. If you do not receive an email from MTC a day after submitting your application, please check your spam folder, then call MTC Admissions at 803.738.7839.
After you are accepted to MTC, you'll receive more instructions on how to meet with your advisor and enroll in classes. You can use the advanced course search to view available academic classes.
