Front-End Web Developer/Programmer Analyst Training Program

Front End Web Developers help design and create simple websites and web-enabled software systems. Participants receive hands-on training in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and Adobe Photoshop.

Possible job titles:  Computer Programmer, Analyst Programmer, Software Developer, Applications Developer, Computer Programmer Analyst, Internet Programmer, Java Developer, Web Programmer

Course Format

Courses will be held at Midlands Technical College Northeast or Harbison Campus

  • (Day Courses) Monday – Thursday (9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.)  Friday (9:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)
    • Estimated length of training: six (6) to ten (10) weeks
  • (Evening courses) Monday-Thursday (6:00 p.m. – 10 p.m.)
    • Estimated length of training: twelve (12) weeks to twenty (20) weeks
  • Participants must be available to attend classes on Saturdays during training
  • Professional development events; students are highly encouraged to participate in networking and job readiness activities in addition to training courses

The award amount received over a 4-year period is $4,000,000 and is effective from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2020. The program provides training for participants in the three-county area served by Midlands Technical College.
