Candace Doyle, M.S.Ed., is the Health Sciences Department Chair at Midlands Technical College. Candace started her professional career in Respiratory Therapy and Cardiovascular Perfusion. Mrs. Doyle was a perfusionist and Extra-corporeal Membrane Specialist at Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore Maryland. She worked as Clinical Coordinator and curriculum writer for the didactic and clinical components for the Johns Hopkins School of Perfusion Technology. She served as Secretary/Treasurer for the Region 2 Perfusion Society and Associate Editor for the Perfusion Life Journal. Candace spent 4 years as faculty and clinical instructor in the Department of Perfusion Technology, Duquesne University. She moved to North Carolina where she worked as a clinical instructor at Duke University Medical Center, Durham North Carolina and Advanced Perfusion Care, Pinehurst, North Carolina as Director of Corporate Education. She served as the Secretary/Treasurer and Chair for Perfusion Education with the North Carolina Society of Perfusionists. She completed her clinical career by working with the draft writers, lobbyists and NC Legislature on the NC Perfusion Licensure Bill through ratification.
