Welcome!!!
The Telecommunications Infrastructure Servicing
program is designed to provide qualified technicians for the
telecommunications industry. The program provides theory and
practice in installing, maintaining, and repairing basic telecommunication
equipment and systems. Telecommunication signals and links are
presented to enable the students to grasp the fundamentals of
signal transmission and switching. Basic industry skills such
as safety, wiring techniques and cabling, math, and verbal and
written communications are combined with industry specific skills
like equipment troubleshooting, networking, and diagnostic computer
skills for a well-rounded certificate program. This experience
can strategically position today's students for the growing
opportunities in the field of telecommunications.
