SSS sponsors visits to four-year colleges and universities, both in-state and out-of-state. These trips provide a chance for students to see different institutions first hand, getting a feel for their atmosphere in addition to learning about curricula, policies, and expenses. Meeting face-to-face with a representative of a school can help reduce anxieties and encourage students to pursue the process further. By personally visiting a particular campus, students can more clearly visualize themselves making the transition to a bachelor’s degree.
