SSS works to address any difficulties affecting our students’ success. While our staff is not equipped to serve as individual therapists, we do provide a safe environment to sort through feelings, vent frustrations, and brainstorm solutions to difficult situations. In our interactions with SSS participants, we seek to affirm behaviors and attitudes which are helpful and challenge ones that are not. If a participant could benefit from more intensive counseling, however, SSS staff is able to suggest additional resources.
