Another common way to get credit for a course is to have taken or to take a nationally recognized exam(s). We accept many exams offered under programs such as the College-Level Examinations Program (CLEP) and the DANTES program. Score reports for these exams should be sent directly to the college's Admissions Office for evaluation.

The type of credit you receive for acceptable exams will be noted on your Midlands Technical College transcript as an "exemption" and indicates course completion. Exemption credits are not used when calculating your GPA at MTC.
