What is the Student Online Advisory Panel?
Team members will be a part of the creative process by providing feedback and offering suggestions on how to improve what’s happening online. Whether it is a new online services or the college’s continuing efforts in evaluating current online services and web pages, your input is wanted.
Members of this team will get a first look at new services and web pages before they are released to the general public.
Who is eligible to join?
Participation on this team is open to any student currently enrolled and the only requirement is the willingness to view and/or use online services and to provide feedback. It doesn’t matter if you’re new to the web and online services, or someone who has been online for years, all levels of experience are needed.
How the team works:
The MTC Student Online Advisory Panel will be asked via email to view new web pages and/or online services periodically and provide feedback on content, design, services offered, or any other pertinent concerns. Team members may be asked to provide feedback via email or to complete online surveys.
Your email address will not be shared with anyone nor will it be used for any other reason other than the purpose of the team. Joining is totally voluntary. If you have any questions about S.O.A.P., send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
What is involved in joining?
Request are sent to members via email normally once or twice a month to review a new online service or web page. Feedback from members is provided via email or by completing an online survey answering specific questions or by providing their own opinions. The time requirements will vary depending on the item being reviewed. Members may expect spending 15 to 30 minutes per request.
