Students at MTC are eligible and welcomed to become members of the 250-member marching band at the University of South Carolina. The band rehearses from 4:45 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and performs at all home Gamecock football games.  There are no fees. You only need to purchase black marching shoes and black gloves (available through the band department)
In addition, positions are available in the Coquettes (dance team) and color guard (flags).

• July 2 - Fall registration, advisement and fee payment begin
  
   
• July 3 - Fast Track classes begin
  
   
• July 4 - Independence Day - College is Closed
  
   
• July 12 - Priority deadline for guaranteed processing of Fall financial aid awards
  
   
• July 20 - Summer II financial aid disbursement
