Got SOAP?
Are you a student with a disability seeking a summer
internship or Full-time employment next summer?Schedule your interview
now for the Workforce Recruitment Program for College Students with
Disabilities!The
Workforce Recruitment Program (WRP) is a recruitment and referral
program that connects public and private sector employers nationwide
with highly motivated college students like you and recent graduates with
disabilities.
What’s in it for me?
This event provides students in all fields of study an ideal
opportunity to market their abilities to a wide variety of potential
employers across the United States. This is an excellent way to gain
valuable skills, experience, and career contacts!
How does WRP work?
Thirty-minute individual interviews are conducted. By late March, a database composed of student information gathered during our visit to
Midlands Technical College is made available to employers in the public and
private sectors. Once the database is released, employers make direct
contact with you about temporary and permanent job offers. Our
database is active for one year.
When will my interview take place?
The WRP recruiter will be at Midlands Technical College Monday January
30, 2006
Who do I contact to schedule my interview? When is the application deadline?
To learn more and receive via email the information and application packets
contact Robert Stuessy, Counseling Services 738-7678 or email:
stuessyr@midlandstech.edu.
The deadline for applications is Friday January 13th.
