All components of the cost of
attendance budgets are for the
2009-2010 academic year (Fall and
Spring terms). The figures
reflect estimated costs for a
student enrolled full-time (12
credit hours).
The EFC provided on your Student Aid Report (SAR), is the dollar
amount that you and/or your family are expected to contribute to
your cost of education, according to Federal Methodology.
The amount of need based financial aid a student can receive is
the difference between the cost of attendance minus your EFC and
any other source of aid you might receive such as scholarships.
Cost of Attendance (COA) - (EFC
+ Other Aid) =
Financial Need
Because some financial aid funds are limited, it is not always
possible to meet a student's full financial need. Therefore,
we recommend you apply early each year (www.fafsa.ed.gov)
to make sure you receive the best possible financial aid package
you are eligible for. |
