Midlands Technical College Northeast Campus

9:00 - 9:30     Registration and Continental Breakfast

9:30 - 10:00   Steven Wilson, USC Center for Disability Resources Library - Will discuss disability related information           can be accessed through USC.

10:15 - 12:15 Elizabeth McWilliams, Clemson University  -  Academic Coaching and Academic Success Strategies, including the use of peer mentors.  Ms. McWilliams has established a successful center and outreach program at Clemson and has had success working with at-risk students, including students with disabilities.

12:15 - 1:15   Lunch (provided)  -  will include a display of photography and writing of students with disabilities at USC who participated in Photovoice, a social empowerment project that uses photojournalism to address the experiences of minority groups.

1:15 - 2:00     Business Meeting
