How to Register

Select your student status from the following list. You will be directed to the appropriate information.

• New: First-time students entering MTC who have never attended another college or university. (Students who took college courses while still in high school are considered new students.)
• Readmit: Students who were once enrolled at MTC but have not attended in the last three consecutive semesters.
• Transfer: Students who have attended a college or university prior to coming the MTC. (Official transcripts from every previously attended institution must be submitted to the Admissions Office at least three weeks prior to the published application deadline for the term in which you plan to attend.)
• Transient/Visiting: Students currently attending another institution who want to take courses at MTC to transfer back to their home institution.
• Continuing: Students who have attended MTC within the last three semesters.
• Career Development: Students taking courses for self-development or to meet pre-requisites to enter another institution.

Note: Students who have not yet applied for financial assistance may register prior to completing their financial aid application (www.fafsa.ed.gov.) To determine if your financial aid award will cover your tuition and fees, however, you must have a completed application on file with the Student Financial Services office at least two weeks prior to the fee payment deadline. If your application is not received prior to this deadline, you will be personally responsible for paying all tuition and fees by the due date.
