Criminal background checks and drug screenings...
Students entering nursing are required to undergo both a criminal background check and drug screening. The Nursing Department has contracted with an agency to conduct the background check and to coordinate the drug screening. As the start date for the clinical sequence approaches, students will be mailed detailed information regarding this process.
Do you have questions and want to talk to someone in person? Information sessions are held the first and third Wednesdays of every month (except December) on the Airport Campus in the Health Science Building, room 141 at 2:00 pm. The sessions usually last an hour and a half.
Come hear how to get started at MTC in nursing. Included is the process for admission, and information about the curriculum and critical progression policies. Individual questions will be answered at the end of the presentation.
No pre-registration required. No children allowed.
For students receiving Financial Aid...
Be Sure to look on MyMTC to see the amount of aid received. Remember that you cannot withdraw from a class if you submitted an appeal. If you do, the aid will be cancelled.
For continuing clinical nursing students...
