The scholarship will cover MTC tuition, fees and books.

What obligations do I have to Michelin by accepting this scholarship?

You are obligated to work part time at Michelin while enrolled in the program.

Do I have to enroll in a specific MTC program to be eligible for the scholarship?  If so which ones?

Students must be enrolled or plan to enroll in the Electronic Engineering Technology (EET) program.

How do I know if I am a good candidate for this scholarship?

Do you have good basic math skills, either algebra or business math? Are you good in basic science classes such as physical science? Are you curious about how things work? Are you a tinkerer? If you answer “yes” to these you would likely do well in this program.

How do I apply for the scholarship or find out more information?

Yes.  As long as you are enrolled in the EET program and continue to meet program requirements, you will continue to receive the scholarship.

If I apply for the scholarship and don’t get it, should I even bother applying again?

If you did not pass the aptitude test, you may take the test again.  If you were denied a scholarship for another reason you will need to contact the Michelin Scholars Program Coordinator, Krista Lloyd-Jones, at (803) 822-3232.
