7.2 – Multiplying and Dividing Rationals
Multiplying Rationals –
Steps:
1.) Completely factor all numerators and denominators
2.) Cancel any factors in common to both the numerator and denominator
3.) Multiply the remaining factors leaving the answer in factored form.

Dividing Rationals -
Steps:
1.) Change the division sign to multiplication by inverting or "flipping" the rational that follows the division sign.
2.) Now that it is a multiplication problem, follow Multiplication steps.
