3.4 – The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra

The Fundamental Theorem of Algebra

If a polynomial function,  P(x), has a degree  and complex coefficients, then P(x) has at least one complex zero.

The Conjugate Pair Theorem –

If is a complex zero of a polynomial function with real-number coefficients, then the conjugate is also a complex zero of P(x).

            Ex.:

            1.)         Find all zeros.

2.)  zeros:                 Write a function with the given zeros.
