5.)  Nancy invested $2500 in two mutual funds for a year.  She made 20% on the first mutual fund and 8% on the other.  This was a total profit of $320 for Nancy.  How much was invested in each mutual fund? 

6.)  A nurse has a solution that is 25% alcohol and another that is 50% alcohol.  How much of each must he use to make 20 liters of a solution that is 40% alcohol?

7.)  An airplane can fly downwind a distance of 600 miles in 2 hours.  However, the return trip against the same wind takes 3 hours.  Find the speed of the wind.  

8.)  A homeowner has installed an in-ground spa in the backyard.  The spa is rectangular in shape, with a length that is 4 feet more than its width.  The homeowner put a one-foot-wide concrete border around the spa.  If the perimeter around the spa and the border is 96 feet, find the dimensions of the spa.  (Correct work must be shown)
