British Isles Tour for Students

If you know a student with an interest in English Literature or a desire to travel, please pass this fantastic opportunity along.  In June 2007 the college will offer an educational tour of the British Isles. The itinerary includes visits to England, Scotland and Wales. This twelve-day trip, entitled "Shakespeare, Dickens, and Scott," is sponsored through Education First [EF] Tours, and will visit sites associated with those eminent British literary figures.

Midlands Technical College students will have the opportunity to enroll in three course offerings in history, theater and British literature. Each of these courses will be five weeks in duration.  The classes will meet on campus for one week prior to departure and resume for two weeks upon return. Students may take one, two or all three of the course.  Course enrollment, however, will not be a prerequisite for going on the tour.
