| First place winners include: Greg Grant, Jamie Johnson, Matt Pound, David Boss, John Plowden and Shamonte Stroman. Their skit, A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A TREE showed how humans sometimes take natural resources for granted. First, the tree was in danger from an overzealous eagle scout (played by Plowden) who wanted to build a campfire. Next, two lovebirds (played by Johnson and Boss) tried to immortalize their love by carving into the tree's side. Last, two happy lumberjacks (Grant and Stroman) threatened to chop the tree down. Matt Pound, as the Tree, asked audience members to please recycle paper and save his life! The script was written by the cast and Helen Kingkade. | |||
