NOTICE OF JOB OPENING
POSITION: Marketing Assistant
HOURS: Monday – Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.; Friday 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
LOCATION: Northeast Campus
DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: Temporary – No Benefits! Support the creation and execution of marketing campaigns to promote the college and its programs. Assist in the creation of marketing materials to support the college’s rebranding initiative. Collaborate with other marketing staff to uphold branding, identity standards and messaging. Work on a variety of marketing projects for different audiences and stakeholders simultaneously. Candidates must be self-motivated and comfortable balancing competing deadlines, managing multiple and often shifting priorities, and working on a team. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills and a broad range of marketing experience including digital media. Candidates must have exceptional communication skills and the ability to successfully manage relationships with different stakeholders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree and relevant experience in marketing or mass communications. Detail oriented and proven experience managing multiple projects. Strong written and verbal communications skills and creativity. Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to interact with different stakeholders. Ability to prioritize, follow through with tasks to completion while maintaining the ability to switch focus as necessary to accommodate deadlines and priorities. Ability to adapt and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: Knowledge of or experience in higher education environment; experience launching new brands; project management experience; graphic design experience; marketing agency experience as a client lead a plus.
HIRING RANGE: $12 - $18 per hour
