The FACTS Plan
To help you meet your educational expenses, Midlands Technical College is pleased to offer FACTS as a convenient budget plan. FACTS is a tuition management plan that provides you with a low cost option for budgeting tuition and fees. It is not a loan program. You have no debt, there are no interest or finance charges assessed, and there is no credit check. The cost to budget monthly payments through FACTS is a $25.00 per semester nonrefundable FACTS Enrollment Fee. The FACTS Enrollment Fee is automatically deducted from your account within 14 days of the agreement being posted to the FACTS system. Please note that beginning April 2011, this fee will be charged IMMEDIATELY.
You may budget your tuition and fees in the following ways:

Automatic Bank Payment (ACH) - ACH payments are those payments you have authorized FACTS to process directly from your financial institution.

Credit Card Option – Your monthly payment will be automatically charged to the credit card designee.
Upon your completion of the FACTS payment plan online,
you will receive an immediate confirmation number which means your class schedule has been held. Payments will not appear
immediately on My MTC. The payment will appear within approximately 10 business days. Payments are processed on the 5th of each month and
will continue until the balance is paid in full.
FACTS Enrollment
To enroll in the FACTS Payment Plan, log into My MTC using the link in the left column of this page and follow the instructions. You can also follow the link at the bottom of this page that will take you directly to FACTS Payment Plan.
The following information is needed to complete your agreement:

Student ID.

The name, address, birthday, and e-mail address of the person responsible for making the payments.

Account information:

If paying by automatic bank payments, you will need the bank name, telephone number, account number, and the bank routing number. Most of this information is located on your check. Be sure to not use a deposit slip for this information.

If paying by credit card, you will need the credit card number and expiration date.

To protect your privacy, you will need to create your own unique FACTS Access Code. Please be sure it is something you can easily remember.
TERMINATION OF FACTS PAYMENT PLAN
A change or termination to FACTS Payment Plan
will be necessary if there is a change in your schedule or your Financial Aid award. To change or terminate your FACTS
Payment Plan, you must go to the Cashier's Office on the Beltline or Airport Campuses to sign a FACTS Change of Status
form five business days prior to payment due date.
Your plan cannot be terminated without your signature.
If draft of funds has been processed and you terminate your FACTS agreement due to receipt of Financial Aid funds or any other
type of payments, the funds drafted may be refunded. This refund will be processed 10 days after your funds have been drafted.
Other Important FACTS Payment Plan Information
If you are having trouble accessing enrollment for the FACTS
Payment Plan, please ensure that you are using your full student ID number with all seven (7) digits (Example 001234). Also, pay extra attention
to the way your birthdate is entered. You must enter two digit month, two digit day, and two digit year all separated by slashes
(Example 12/25/80).
Also, please note that FACTS Management payments will not immediately appear on your student account. Be advised that your
classes will be held at the moment you receive your confirmation number upon completion of the FACTS Management enrollment process.
If you have completed enrollment in FACTS Management, you must complete a termination form at the Cashiers office no later than five
(5) business days before the scheduled draft date if you pay your balance in full, you are awarded Financial Aid, or your credit hour status changes.
Do not make payments through "Pay on my Account" on My MTC.
