How Do I Locate Information on Financial Aid

The easiest way to locate financial aid information is through the World Wide Web (www) also known as the Internet. However, if your do not have access to the web, you can get information from your high school guidance office, at your local library, book store, or the postsecondary institution you plan to attend. Below is a list of relevant websites and phone numbers to assist you in your search for financial aid.

Federal Student Aid: General information about federal student financial assistance programs, assistance in completing the FAFSA, obtaining federal student aid publications, and federal tax credits.

State Student Aid: General Information and links to S.C. financial assistance programs, including scholarships, grants, and tax credits.

The College Board: Locate scholarships, loans, internships, and other financial aid programs from non-college sources that match your education level, ta4lents, and background.

Fast Web: Personalized search of over 180,000 scholarships.

Fin Aid: The most comprehensive source of financial aid on the Internet.
