The Upward Bound staff consists of three full-time and approximately 20 part-time staff. The full-time staff consists of:
David is from Lexington, South Carolina. He graduated from Lexington High School in 1990 and completed his BS degree in Social Studies from Presbyterian College in 1994.
David earned his M. Ed.in Student Personnel Services from the University of South Carolina in 1996.

As Director of Upward Bound, David is responsible for the development and administration of the program.
Courtney is from Greenville, SC. She attended Winthrop University where received her B.A. in History and received her M. Ed in Divergent Learning from Columbia College. Before coming to Midlands Technical College, Courtney taught middle school social studies. As Counselor, Courtney conducts monthly school visits with Upward Bound participants, teaches Saturday Enrichment classes, plans cultural events/activities, and assists students with preparing for their college education and career choices.
Cheneeka Nash is the Administrative Specialist for Upward Bound. She maintains student files and database, schedule appointnments, assist with budget, create correspondence, order supplies, and conduct all general office duties. She is from Madison, Georgia. She graduated from Morgan County High School. Cheneeka received a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Paine Colllege.
