ARCHITECTURAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY

Associate in Engineering Technology (AET)

opens new browser windowOpens a new browser window

DESCRIPTION:
The AET program provides a broad education for graduates who desire to secure responsibility in the construction industry, in architectural and engineering firms, building construction, or in allied fields. Building designs have become more creative and contemporary while focusing on the needs and expectations of environmental control and protection. The AET technicians play a very important support role to the architectural engineers through the use of their talents and skills. There is a need for qualified technicians to assist architects, engineers, contractors, and allied construction industries in implementing new technological developments. With the development of new materials and exciting shapes, the building designs are limited only by one's knowledge, creativity and imagination in the use of these achievements in technology. It is the purpose of the AET program to prepare the technicians to meet these future demands and to accept the challenge of tomorrow.
