Karen is the longest-serving staff member of Educational Talent Search. She works with 6th, 7th, and 8th graders at Batesburg-Leesville Middle School, Busbee Middle School, Fairfield Middle School, Northside Middle School, Sandhills Intermediate and Sandhills Middle School.

Originally from Columbia, SC, Karen graduated from the Hammond School and went on to Columbia College. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Social Work and Religion. Karen is our “senior” staff member, and has been with the program since 1993.
