I’m going to Italy!!

I’m so excited. My Religion teacher, who is, incidentally, the most awesome person I know, told me about it at the beginning of the semester. I told my husband about it, thinking he would tell me, quite legitimately, that we can’t afford to do anything like that. He thought it was a great idea and told me I’ll get this one chance at life and I should do it. When we went to the meeting about it, my teacher asked if Ryan was coming. I said I didn’t know he could since he wasn’t a student. We were told he certainly could come with us, he just can’t academic credit for it! Actually I already have the credits the trip would apply for, but I’ll take the extras. So we’re both going to Italy! We took out a large and expensive loan, used our tax return and the payout from my current student loan. I’m worried about the expense, but when will I get another chance?

We’ll be going on a Grand Tour of Italy. Sounds exciting huh? It will include Milan, Venice, Florence, Pisa, Pompeii, Sorento, the Isle of Capri and Rome. I think I missed a couple of things but oh well. That’s enough to excite anyone. Not only that, I found out that two of my dear friends from Student Support Services are also going as well as three students in my Religion class. That makes me less scared and more excited.
