Challenges This has been the first semester I’ve gone full-time, so I hope you’ll forgive me if I haven’t contributed to In-Focus as regularly as usually do. I was only able to go full-time because of a job change, coupled with some internet classes. My internet classes cut down on my drive time and open up my study schedule. But be warned: if you’re going to Internet classes, you should know that they have no respect for weekends, holidays or business hours. Mostly I don’t mind because I work ahead whenever possible, but I had a test that was only available on the Saturday that one of my best friends was married. Other than that, I’ve liked the freedom of taking internet courses. I wasn’t quite brave enough to take a math course on the internet, so I opted for a hybrid course. One classroom meeting per week, all homework and testing is online. Good luck to everyone out there. |
