Why I chose MTC

Next step. Where do I attend? I looked at USC. I looked at its sports-dominated culture, its busy campus and its young and noisome students. Yes, I know that at 23 I’m not exactly wizened, but the students on that campus sometimes look like little kids to me.

So I need an alternative. That’s when I remembered the MTC catalog I had gotten in the mail. I wanted to be sure I didn’t give myself the short end of the stick so I started making comparisons. MTC offers a wide variety of courses and programs, including a transfer program. The transfer program was just what I was looking for. A place to get my feet wet. Looking back, I made the right move here. I like the smaller and more intimate classroom settings. I enjoy the accessibility each and every teacher I have had to date has offered me. I like paying about half what I would for the same credits at the larger universities, especially when there are plenty of teachers that teach both here at MTC and over at USC.
